I Come From Arizona

BY CARLOS MURILLO | DIRECTED BY ANA VELAZQUEZ

Gabi Castillo is 14 and just about to start high school at the prestigious Northside Prep. The halls and students of Northside are far away from her home on the South Side of Chicago. Through a class assignment, Gabi uncovers the meaning of courage and her part in keeping the American Dream alive. Based on Augusta & Noble (ASC 2013), I Come From Arizona taps into the human stories of immigration in America that are often ignored.

A FREE Staged Reading of I Come From Arizona will be presented as part of the Vittum Theater Grand Reopening. Make sure to reserve your free tickets by clicking the button below and filling out the Google form!
